Here is my first case using the new da Vinci Xi SureForm 60mm stapler. I routinely use the 45mm Endowrist stapler, but we just got it in. This is a mostly unedited start to finish sleeve that I sped up x4. I'll edit out the staple only portion and repost in real time to see the quickness and efficiency of the stapler. My impression of it is: I love it! I like the increased speed, without the need for the usual calibration. I love the green with 3 rows. I love the very dry and clean staple line. I like the articulation and degrees of freedom. From what I understand, this will also be lower in cost than using the 45mm to complete the sleeve. Overall, a nice improvement over the 45mm, which I also love. My only modification with this over the 45 was to go 1.5 cm lower on my 12 mm port, which may or may not have been needed.
